Terms and Conditions

We provide training courses and at all times we endeavour to provide each course exactly as we describe it. We also appreciate that things can change for us as well as our customers and for that reason we have some simple rules that explain where we stand in certain circumstances.

Transfers
We will be happy to transfer a delegate to an alternative course or in an emergency replace a delegate from an organistion. With regards to transfers you must provide the same notice as required by the cancellation term below. With regards to replacing a delegate with someone else from the same organisation in an emergency you must inform us as soon as possible.

Cancellation
If you provide 48hours or more notice in writing (email will suffice) that you wish to cancel your booking we will provide you with a full refund. Any less than 48 hours notice but more than 24hours we will provide a credit note for you to exchange for another course of similar value on a different date. For less than 24 hours notice we will not provide a refund, credit note or otherwise. We will provide as much notice as possible if we need to cancel a course and if we do we will refund you the course fee in full. We\ will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in reaching the course venue.

Course Content
We reserve the right to make changes to the published programme of an Event (but not the overall content), for example to timings and/or speakers if one of the advertised speakers is unable to attend. In such cases, You will not be entitled to cancel.

Course Venue
Our courses/events are held at a number of venues. We may have to change the published venue for the course/event for reasons beyond our control and in such cases, you will not be entitled to cancel unless the change in venue represents a significant disadvantage to you. You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to that of an external venue and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to behaviour and conduct) that may be in place at any venue from time to time. If you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.

Force Majeure
first4schools is not liable to refund, reimburse forced to cancel or, in any way change, your arrangements due to war, threat of war, industrial dispute, riots, civil strife, political unrest industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fire or adverse weather conditions, epidemics, theft, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, technical and administrative problems with transport, closure of airports & train stations, breakdown with machinery and equipment, water shortages or other unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond first4schools' control which could not have been avoided.
