First4schools was set up up by Dr Paul Wright and Philip Cavalier-Lumley.

Both founders are school governors and as successful businessmen in their own right they felt that school staff and management didn't have the commercial skills and confidence to always ensure that the very best deal was achieved for their school.

With budget cuts cascading down through local authorities and into education the pressure has never been so intense to ensure that your school finds the very best value now and in the future, including renegotiating prices with suppliers, finding better alternatives not to mention having enough time to do this whilst still maintaining high standards in education.

Paul and Phil have established a whole host of training and skills development courses to help school staff and management understand how to get the best deal and build confidence in procurement and negotiation.
